How To Copy and Paste

You can use cut-and-paste for a very large number of purposes, including moving text within a document, transferring text from one application to another, entering repetitive data in a program, and copying HTML code for a webpage.

Use the mouse to select the text with your right hand (assuming you are a righty). Use keyboard shortcut keys nearly simultaneously with your left hand to execute these commands:

  1. Ctrl-C is Copy. Copy the text created by the HTML wizard in the textbox.
  2. Ctrl-V is Paste. Move over to the window where you are creating your HTML page. Press the mouse button inside the textbox where you want the HTML to go. Then paste the text.
